the Evolution of Japanese Beauty

gallery gen is your source for contemporary and antique Japanese art in all aspects of form,  texture,  and beauty.
From many distant countries to the most rural regions of Japan,
artists have been gathered here in New York to share in this evolution of Japanese beauty.
gallery gen seeks to explore the aesthetics of Japan from the past, the present, and the yet undiscovered future.

'the beginning'

Just as the New Year's sunrise welcomes a new year,  gallery gen welcomed its first year of business in Tribeca on January 1, 2004.
With its extensive knowledge and business experience of over fourteen years in Japan,
gallery gen continues to operate from New York with the hope of communicating the universal essence of beauty.
